DOWN-4-TECH

Music is our Super Hero

Starting this year 2011, we will embark on a technology in urban Schools and After School Initiative dubbed – “Down 4 Tech”. The “D4T” Education reform Challenge is a fun challenge involving Recording Artist, Music & Video Producers, Record Labels, Graphic Designers, Student Event Promoters and online marketers. The “D4T” contest involves student groups from various parts of the country in a challenge to see who can raise the greatest amount of funds by monetizing their social networks through Worldhits.org.

This is a platform to involve students with some of today’s hottest new & established stars collaborating on music and video products, as well as special events. The purpose of the “D4T Challenge” is to provide funds and technology to help Students learn and to help Teachers, teach, while simultaneously providing a leadership development experience and educational enrichment opportunity for students.

Nationwide nearly one in three U.S. high school students fail to graduate with a diploma. In total approximately 1.2 million students drop out each year-averaging 7,000 every school day. Among minority students, the problem is even more severe with nearly 50 percent of African American and Hispanic students who do not complete High School.

We realize the urgent need for innovative ways to raise funds to sufficiently address this huge crisis and to meet the current need for education reform. An Online Music based Virtual Incubator/Website, Benefit songs, videos and companion events is our approach to launching this important mission and we sincerely hope that you will support us as we pursue this worthwhile Challenge for Education reform.

We propose to partner with Facebook to create Worldhits.ORG, a music based social network supported Belm Designs, a desktop publishing, audio recording and video production facility. Worldhits.ORG will feature a subscription based music website linked to Who’s Who Social Network Entertainment & Education related blog (The WHO-VIEW).

The vehicle we are recommending for launching our new entertainment, social, distribution and marketing network is a national fund-raiser for an international educational, motivational and incentive campaign to be planned and implemented by 21st FLEET DEVELOPMENT GROUP (Student Interns).

A group of recording artists, businesses and student-lead organizations will be filmed working together. Students will compete in THE WORLDHITS FLEET CHALLENGE to release a series of downloadable songs and music videos. The songs will be performed at benefit concerts featuring participants on a WORLDHITS Tribute TOUR. Each event will be filmed for Online broadcasting as part of the WORLDHITS FLEET found Raising Competition.

Music sharing methods have, as we can all agree, drastically changed. The radio, vinyl, cassette tape and even compact disc have been pushed aside by the emergence of the MP3 — provided by Internet music stores such as iTunes. Though the response from the industry and the artists themselves has been mixed, this remarkable shift shows no sign of slowing down.

Acknowledging such changes in the landscape of the music business, worldhits.org is taking advantage of online music purchases. With the tag line “Music is our Super Hero,” this California based website has altruistic aims.

Worldhits.org donates a portion of profits from download sales to the leading charities in the Education reform movement. We guarantee that the amount donated will never be less than 50% of profit.

Tracks on the site are just around $1 (changing according to the shifts in currency exchange). Essentially, it’s about as much as buying a song on iTunes.

Please don’t look down on the music the site offers just because it is connected to Education Reform. The site’s library offers all the newest music from artists such as Oasis, MGMT, The XX, Drake, Kings of Leon, and more! The various charities that benefit from the purchases made on worldhits.org include:
